Madonna is involved in assisting our attorneys with the development of the medical aspect of our cases. She has extensive experience in hospital nursing including critical care, cardiovascular and management.
She has served on various Boards including the American Heart Association as the nursing representative, the New York State Organization of Nurse Executives and the Greater New York Organization of Nurse Executives. She has published extensively in nursing journals on cardiovascular and critical care as well as articles on nursing administration which were published in the Journal of Nursing Administration as well as Nursing Economics.. She is author of the textbook, Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery which was published by Appleton Century Crofts in 1990, coauthor of a chapter in the text, Advanced Life Support which was published by the American Heart Association in 1992 and co-author of the textbook, The Role of the Preceptor: A Guide for Nurse educators, Clinicians and Managers which was published by Springer Publishing Company and was listed as a best nursing text in 2005.
In 2005, she received the New York State Organization of Nurse Executive's award for excellence in nursing leadership.
