Terrence E. McCartney
Terry has been with the firm since 1994. Before law school he was an infantry officer in the U.S. Marine Corps and held the rank of Major in the Marine Reserves. Terry is a graduate of the Virginia Military Institute and St. Thomas University School of Law. He was on the team of lawyers who tried the national Albuterol class action. Terry works on the firm's complex product liability cases primarily in the area of automotive crashworthiness. Terry has also successfully handled many cases involving medium and heavy trucks. He has lectured on numerous occasions on the topic of automobile crashworthiness law, as well as many other topics, at the state and national level and has been published nationally several times. Terry is active in the Attorney’s Information Exchange Group, American Association for Justice, American Bar Association, New York State Trial Lawyers Association and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.
