Tom has been in practice for 21 years and leads the firm's malpractice department.  Tom's entire legal career has been devoted to representing victims of medical negligence.  Tom is chairman of the Medical Malpractice Committee of the New York State Bar Association and also Chairs the Medical Malpractice Committee of the Bar Association for the City of New York.  Tom is a member of  the Executive Committee of the New York State Bar Association's Trial Lawyer's Section and Chairs the Trial Lawyer's Section's Continuing Legal Education Committee.  Tom has lectured extensively on the subjects of medical negligence and patient rights.  Tom can be e-mailed directly at tvalet@rheingoldlaw.com.
