Ohio Pediatric Urologist Fired After Being Charged with Sex Offenses Against Children

Bryan Shanley Sack, 43, of Michigan, was charged Saturday with multiple child sex offenses and immediately fired from his role as a pediatric urologist at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Toledo, according to court filings.

The arrest occurred after Sack was found with more than 100 graphic images of child sexual abuse. Sack was arraigned Saturday in Ann Arbor and faces with multiple charges: aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material, possession of child sexually abusive material and use of a computer to commit a crime. Sack was arraigned on Feb. 21 in 15th District Court in Michigan on two counts of aggravated child sexual abusive material possession, one count of child sexual abuse material possession and three counts of use of a computer to commit a crime, court records show.

He was granted a $75,000 bond and posted it the same day, securing his release. He was immediately fired from his job at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
