After fifty (50) years in the legal profession, our esteemed partner and friend, Sherri L. Plotkin, will be retiring effective January 1, 2026. Sherri will continue with the firm as Of Counsel; however, she will no longer be involved in the day-to-day operations of the firm or the daily management of cases.
The cases that Sherri has been working on are being transferred to the two senior partners in the Medical Malpractice Department, namely Thomas P. Giuffra and Edward A. Ruffo. Both Tom and Ed are fully familiar with all of the cases and are extraordinarily knowledgeable and experienced in handling medical malpractice matters. And, Sherri will always be available if we have any questions or if we need her to help us out in a particular situation. So while she may be retiring, this is definitely not goodbye forever.
Sherri has been akin to a family member to all of us at our firm and she will be greatly missed. Please join us in wishing her the best of luck and happiness in this next chapter of her life.
