An associate at Rheingold Giuffra Ruffo Plotkin & Hellman LLP, Ethan specializes in the litigation and trial of primarily sexual abuse, discrimination, and harassment cases. He also works on a wide variety of medical malpractice and personal injury actions.

Most notably, Ethan has done extensive work on the firm’s high-profile sexual abuse cases, representing survivors of Sean “P Diddy” Combs as well as Dr. Darius Paduch.

Education & Relevant Experience

Ethan was admitted to practice law in April 2025 after graduating from St. John’s University School of Law in May 2024, where he was afforded the Dean’s Scholarship upon admission.

In law school, Ethan served as the Symposium Editor of the NY Real Property Law Journal, the official publication of the New York State Bar Association’s (NYSBA) Real Property Law Section. Therein, he published an article titled Simmons v. Bell (2023) – And The Growing Deed Theft Problem, an exposé on the legal issue of deed theft and the ways in which vulnerable populations can protect themselves. He was recognized with an award in 2024 from the NYSBA in appreciation of his outstanding service during his role as Symposium Editor.

Prior to law school, Ethan attended Vanderbilt University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts, double majoring in Spanish and Law, History & Society. In college, he developed his research and writing skills that laid the foundation for his transition to legal work and the practice of law. Therein, Ethan also served as the Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity’s Director of External Affairs for a two-semester term as well as Interfraternity Council (IFC) representative for the Lights on the Lawn Benefit Concert, which raises money for the Mary Parrish Center, a shelter for survivors of domestic violence, located in Nashville, Tennessee.
