Have you ever realized how the environment can affect or distract a driver’s focus on the road, causing accidents?

There was breaking news last month in the New York Daily News explaining how an unidentified man was rushed to Bellevue Hospital because of a NYC cab who critically injured him by running him over on a lower Manhattan street on Friday. The taxi driver known as Kha An Rhahaman remained at the scene and stated to DNAInfo.com that “there was so much sun I couldn’t see anything. The next thing I know there’s a guy in front of my car. I just brake and he fell. I saw the guy on the ground and called 911.” Just after 8 a.m. the 30 year old injured man was struck at Spring and Crosby Streets, officials stated. When he was rushed to the hospital, he was listed in critical condition with head trauma after being pinned under the sedan. The taxi driver also described the injuries of the victim and apologized, hoping the injured man was okay. Sources concluded that Rhahaman was not expected to be charged.
