Another Bike Frame Recall

The Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a recall of bike frames due to the risk that the frames can crack causing rider to loose control and crash. The recall includes 750 bike frames due to a welding deficiency. There have been 53 reports of the frames cracking by riders prompting the CSPC to take swift action.

The recall includes Niner Jet 9 models serial numbers P8001682 through P9400454. These bikes were made and sold from March 2008- September 2009 MSRP $1750. Consumers are advised to not ride the bikes and can contact Niner for a replacement
