NHTSA Raises Death Toll Linked to Toyota Cases

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has increased the number of deaths related to Toyota Sudden Unintended Acceleration from 52 to 89 in the period of 2000-May 2010. During the same period they have reports of 57 non fatal injuries. The NHTSA says there have been more than 6200 reports of sudden unintended acceleration to date.
