Owners of 2012 Honda Accords and Crosstour CUVs will not be happy to hear
that their vehicles may have airbags which do not deploy in an accident.
This current recall is on top of an earlier recall which included 1 million
vehicles. Honda has stated that they will contact owners and replace the
faulty parts free of charge. Airbags are an important safety device for which
we have had lawsuits in the past for failure to deploy. Sometimes this is caused by an original manufacturing defect, and other
times it was caused by subsequent faulty maintenance done by a dealership
or garage. We have settled cases involved blinded Nissan passengers, as
well as other injuries.
